Requirements:

  1. an active student of animal science and industry. minimum on the 4th semester
  2. be spiritually and mentally healthy, and have strong mentality
  3. have a broad understanding about cattle industry
  4. be able to speak in English

  2. (2) copy of TOEFL certificate with minimal score 450
  3. letter of health from hospital
  4. (2) copy of national ID, (2) copy of student ID, (2) copy of academic transcript, copy of achievement certificate (if available)

  6. Write an English essay about “my campus activity and Indonesian cattle industry” minimum of 500 words
  7. curriculum vitae in English
  8. Make a video about “who am I and my future contribution to cattle industry” (maximum duration is 2 minutes)
  9. letter of faculty recommendation

Recruitment: NTCA-Indonesia-Australia Pastoral Program 2019

We are pleased to inform you that we open student recruitment for NTCA-Indonesia-Australia Pastoral Program 2019 (NIAPP 2019).

NIAPP is an annual program, collaboration between Northern Territory Cattlemen’s Association Australia and Indonesian Society of Animal Science, in which we invite students to experience working for about ten weeks in the beef cattle industry.

Duration of the Program

About 3 months during July – September 2019

Eligibility

  1. Currently enrolled as student at the undergraduate program of Animal Science/Animal Husbandry and minimum at the semester 3rd on November 2019.
  2. Be spiritually and physically healthy and have strong mentality
  3. Have a broad understanding on beef cattle
  4. Be able to communicate in English both spoken and written with minimum TOEFL Score 450 proven by certificate of TOEFL score taken at the latest 6 months before the application
  5. Be willing to share the knowledge attained during the program to other students
  6. Be willing to participate on the preliminary training program before the start of the pastoral program

Administrative requirements

  1. Application form (download at bit.ly/NIAPP2019FORM)
  2. Original Certificate of Health from the Hospital
  3. 2 copies of certificate of TOEFL
  4. 2 copies of Student ID card
  5. 2 copies of National Identity card
  6. 2 copies of academic transcript
  7. A copy of certificate of achievement (award, conferences, competition, etc)
  8. Colored Photo size 3 x 4 and 4 x 6 (2 pieces each)
  9. Essay written in English with the theme “My campus activity and Indonesian Cattle Industry” minimum 500 words, and make a video about “Who am I and my contribution for cattle industry in the future”
  10. CV in English
  11. Provide the soft copy of all requirements (1 – 10) and send them to niapp2019.jateng@gmail.com by the latest on 10 May 2019

Students who pass the administration selection will be invited to interview at the end of May (To Be Informed soon). During this interview you have to bring original required documents.

AAACU STUDY TOUR PROGRAM 2019 HELD AT TAIWAN (DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 16 APRIL 2019)

We are pleased to inform you that we extend the deadline of the Asian Association of Agricultural Colleges and Universities (AAACU) Study Tour Program 2019 until 16 April 2019.

AAACU Study Tour Program 2019 will be held during 24 June to 5 July in Taiwan, hosted by National Chung Hsing University (NCHU).

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM

The Study Tour Program aims to:
· Encourage interaction and knowledge sharing in the highest technologies of agriculture;
· Enhance awareness on convergence and integration embracing several academic
field such as veterinary science by industrial-academic cooperation system;
· Strengthen network among Asian agricultural universities and colleges.

Call for Application: MSFSCC Summer School

Please be informed that we already launched the Call for Applications for the last batch of ERASMUS+-funded students to the MSFSCC Summer School and one-semester mobility. This year’s Summer School is hosted by UPLB and is jointly organized with BOKU, UGM and SEARCA. It will be held on 15-31 July 2019, with the field work to be conducted at Camarines Sur, Philippines. This will also be a pilot offering of the new core course titled Assessment of Sustainability in Agriculture Production and Food Processing Systems that has 2 credits.

CALL FOR APPLICATION: The 3rd International Student Science Forum 2018 (ISSF), Vietnam

we are pleased to inform you that  The 3rd International Student Science Forum 2018 (ISSF) will be organized for Vietnamese and international students, hosted by Ho Chi Minh City Vietnamese Students’ Association Ho Chi Minh City and Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City. As an international academic playground, the purpose of ISSF is to create opportunities to exchange and learn academic knowledge as well as discuss about creative ideas between Vietnamese and International students. Through this, students will have chances to express, brand storm and seek for viable solutions for world’s crisis and share them with international fellows. Was first held in 2016, annually, ISSF had more than 100 representatives from highly reputable universities of Vietnam, ASEAN, Japan, South Korea and China. The topics of the forum have been discussed about the current situation and specific solutions, attracting the attention of the press and the public. The 3rd International Student Science Forum 2018, under the theme of “Human resources in the Industry 4.0”, is organized to provide opportunities for exchanging and learning academic knowledge, sharing creativity and strengthening the solidarity among students in ASEAN and other countries in the world. 1. Time: 04th – 08th December 2018, Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. 2. Program summary: – The science forum: delegates will listen and share opinions on presentations by leading scientists and the ISSF 2018 delegates reporting on the following subjects: + The necessary skills for career developments; + The education trends in the Industry 4.0; + Labour in the international integration; + The role of organizations in supporting students to improve their professional skills. – Teambuilding skills development: Visit Can Gio Mangrove Forest Biosphere Reserve, participate in group skills development activities. – Excursions: visit to key laboratories, science and technology centers, and historic sites in Ho Chi Minh City. – Exchange program: with students from many universities in Ho Chi Minh City. – Closing Ceremony and farewell party of the ISSF. 3. Eligibility – Must be enrolling at universities, sophomore and junior students are preferred; – Possess good capability of group working; – Must be in good health conditions; – Must demonstrate good English proficiency; – Must be oblige to the forum’s schedule during 04th – 08th December, 2018. 4. Deadline for Submission Applicants are required to submit their abstract to the Organizing Committee via website www.issf.vn by 21 October, 2018 and finish full text by 30 October, 2018. 5. Participation costs The forum will cover the expenses for accommodation, meals and local transportations in Ho Chi Minh City for all delegates. The round-trip ticket, visa fee, travel insurance and other personal expenses shall be borne by the participants. Any officers, lectures who wish to come with the students are also very much welcomed to the forum but have to bear all the expenses.
