SUIJI Konsorsium yang terdiri dari 3 universitas di Jepang dan 3 universitas
di Indonesia yaitu: Ehime University, Kochi University, Kagawa University,
UGM, IPB, dan UNHAS menyelenggarakan program pertukaran mahasiswa
(Students Exchange) dari Indonesia ke Jepang dan sebaliknya. Fakultas
Teknologi Pertanian selama ini dipercaya sebagai koordinator pelaksana
untuk kegiatan ini di lingkungan UGM. Untuk angkatan ke 8 (Tahun 2018)
ini ditawarkan program pertukaran pelajar selama 3 minggu khusus untuk
mahasiswa S-1 UGM dari lingkungan agrokomplek sebanyak 9 orang
mahasiswa.
Persyaratan
1. Mahasiswa S-1 aktif Universitas Gadjah Mada dari Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian, Pertanian, Peternakan,
Kehutanan, dan Kedokteran Hewan (Agrokompleks).
2. Telah menempuh kuliah minimal 60 SKS.
3. Bisa melaksanakan program kegiatan secara penuh dari 15 Agustus 2018 sampai dengan 3 September 2018.
4. Memperoleh surat ijin dari Dekan Fakultas dan Orang Tua/Wali.
5. Memiliki score TOEFL (TOEFL Like) minimum 450 atau English proficiency lain yang setara.
6. Memiliki IPK > 2,3 (versi SUIJI-GPA) untuk satu akademik terakhir (Semester Ganjil dan Genap 2016/2017).
7. Memiliki riwayat kesehatan yang baik dengan menunjukkan surat keterangan dari dokter.
8. Bersedia mengikuti semua rangkaian kegiatan yang telah ditetapkan tanpa kecuali dengan membuat surat
pernyataan kesediaan.
9. Bersedia mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan SUIJI-SLP lanjutan di Indonesia yang rencananya akan dilaksanakan pada
Bulan Februari s/d Maret 2019, dengan membuat surat pernyataan kesediaan.
10. Bersedia menanggung biaya perjalanan pulang pergi IndonesiaJepang dengan pesawat yang sampai di Matsuyama-Jepang
(ASIANA Airline).
11. Bersedia menanggung biaya pembuatan passport dan visa.
12. Lolos desk evaluation dan interview.
13. Peserta yang diterima wajib membuat laporan akhir kegiatan SUIJISLP dan mengumpulkannya ke Penanggung Jawab Program di FTPUGM.
14. Kesempatan ini juga terbuka bagi mahasiswa yang pernah
mengikuti kegiatan SLP di Indonesia Februari-Maret 2018 maupun
di Jepang tahun lalu (Agustus-September 2017).
Fasilitas yang disediakan
1. Akomodasi dan konsumsi selama kegiatan di Jepang sepenuhnya ditanggung oleh Program SUIJI.
2. Travel insurance dari Jakarta ke Jepang, hingga kembali ke Jakarta
3. Mendapatkan sertifikat/transkrip dari Program SUIJI-Jepang.
4. Bantuan dana untuk biaya pembuatan passport dan visa dari
fakultas (tergantung dari masing-masing fakultas)

Program
We are pleased to inform you that 2018 Student Exchange Program (SEP) at DARS KNU is open. The program will start on the Fall Semester (Sept.~ Dec.,2018). SEP is one of programs in the Excellent Department Specialization Program (EDSP) of DARS supported by National Research Foundation of Korea. Only 60 departments from Korean Universities were selected for EDSP.
SEP will select 2 Indonesian students from UGM and award 2,000,000 Korean Won for each during the period (semester) of SEP. No other financial support (e.g. stipend, scholarship) will be officially offered. Students who want to apply for a dormitory will be scheduled to arrange the accommodation without meal plan. Students who are selected for SEP should attend classes and obtain credit based on SEP regulation. The foreign student who applies for the graduate program of CALS in near future will have additional point at a selection committee.

Submissions:
- All abstracts must be received by the Conference Committee STARTING 1 June 2018.
DEADLINE for submission is 31 July 2018. - The Conference Committee in VSU is responsible for selecting papers for presentation and
allocating them time to a program session. - Authors whose abstract will be selected (on the basis of abstract topic and quality of
submissions) will give a 15-minute oral presentation about their research and participate in a
facilitated group discussion. - Authors will receive an email confirming the receipt of their submission ON OR BEFORE 31
August 2018. - Authors whose abstracts have been accepted must submit to the Conference Committee the
full paper by 30 September 2018. - Any changes in the presentation details (e.g., name, title) and or presenter after 31 August
2018 will no longer be entertained. - Papers accepted for presentation are also required to prepare a poster of their paper to be
displayed at the Conference Hall. The poster should be printed on 30” wide x 40” high (76 cm x 103 cm) tarpaulin with high resolution photos. It should include the following:
– Title
– Full name of authors, designation and institutional affiliation
– Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results, Conclusion and Recommendation
Conference Registration Fees
Students – Php 3,000.00 inclusive of 7 meals from Oct 15 evening until October 17, 2018; 4 snacks
(Oct 16-17, 2018), 3 nights accommodation in dorm-type (air-con)(Oct 15-17), conference kit, and
welcome dinner with AAACU members (Oct 17).
For students wishing to extend until the 19th Oct to participate in the field tour, an additional Php
2,000.00 will be collected to cover for meals and the tour.

We are pleased to inform you that student recruitment for 2017 Summer Course Program “Livestock – a driving force for food security and sustainable development” hosted by Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Gadjah Mada will open from May 1 – June 10, 2017.
2017 Summer Course Program is organized by Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada for undergraduate and graduate students from Asian countries and also opens to Australian to spend their summer abroad learning about food security and sustainable development in Asia and especially Indonesian culture. The program will be held during September 17 to 28, 2017.
The Graduate School of Biosphere Science, Hiroshima University, will invite promising undergraduate or graduate students, or young academic staff (less than 35 years old) from MOU universities or other partner universities to participate in the 2017 Hiroshima University International Summer School in Biosphere Science. This summer school aims to share current knowledge and technique on the latest advances in five different scientific programs (please see detail in the table below), and to strengthen and foster good relationships among universities. Participants are also scheduled to visit two World Heritage sites found in Hiroshima, namely Itsukushima Shrine and Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
