ABOUT NIAAP
The Northern Territory cattle industry pioneered live exports in two Southeast Asia. The Northern Territory breeds tropically adapted, high-quality cattle adapted to south east asian conditions. The NTCA is continuing to encourage, through industry and government, the development of longer term relationships in the region that foster good and sustainable practice in animal welfare and production in order to cater for growing demand and efforts to improve local production and beef self-sufficiency, particularly in Indonesia. As part of this ongoing relationship the NTCA actively promotes and supports initiatives to build greater mutual understanding for growth and development.
