If so, we invite you to apply for The 8th Summer Course Program on Harmony in Animal and Agricultural Production for Global Food Security!

Program Overview:

Our Summer Course Program offers an immersive learning experience designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in agriculture and animal sciences. From crop cultivation techniques to livestock management practices, this program covers a wide range of topics essential for success in the agricultural industry. This program is offered on site and online participation.

  • Hands-On Activities: Gain practical experience through field visits to farms, laboratories, and research facilities.

  • Certificate of Completion: Upon successfully completing the program, participants will receive a certificate recognizing their dedication and achievement in agriculture and animal sciences.

Program Dates:

The Summer Course Program will take place from July 21 to August 3, 2024. Please note that spaces are limited, so early application is encouraged.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be a bachelor, master, or doctoral students.
  • A strong interest in agriculture and animal sciences.
  • Prior experience or academic background in related fields is preferred but not required.

How to Apply:

To apply for the Summer Course Program, please register to https://admission.ugm.ac.id/registration/

  1. Those who apply for onsite participation please choose On-Site-(ASEAN Students) The 8th Summer Course Program on Harmony in Animal and Agricultural Production for Global Food Security/On-Site-(Non-ASEAN Students) The 8th Summer Course Program on Harmony in Animal and Agricultural Production for Global Food Security. If you apply for online participation please choose On-Line- The 8th Summer Course Program on Harmony in Animal and Agricultural Production for Global Food Security.
  2. Completed Application Form
  3. Resume/CV highlighting relevant experience and education
  4. Statement of Purpose (Max. 500 words) explaining your interest in the program and how it aligns with your academic and career goals
  5. Onsite participation must upload a passport. For online you can upload a student ID card to replace for the passport.
  6. Submit a recommendation from supervisor/Dean/Head of Department

Application Deadline:

The deadline for applications is 30 May 2024  Extended until 17 June 2024. Late applications will not be considered.

Program Fee:

The students coming from ASEAN countries are granted with limited number of scholarships (with selection). The scholarships only cover accommodation (shared room) and program fees. Applicants must bear the transportation from home countries to the venue, visa fee (IDR 2,000,000), and the living costs during the program.

There is a program fee for participating in the Summer Course Program Non-ASEAN Students: USD 450. This fee covers tuition, course materials, field trips, and other program-related expenses. Limited scholarships may be available for eligible candidates. Applicants must also bear the transportation from home countries to the venue and the living costs during the program.
