We are pleased to inform you that we extend the deadline of the Asian Association of Agricultural Colleges and Universities (AAACU) Study Tour Program 2019 until 16 April 2019.
AAACU Study Tour Program 2019 will be held during 24 June to 5 July in Taiwan, hosted by National Chung Hsing University (NCHU).
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
The Study Tour Program aims to:
· Encourage interaction and knowledge sharing in the highest technologies of agriculture;
· Enhance awareness on convergence and integration embracing several academic
field such as veterinary science by industrial-academic cooperation system;
· Strengthen network among Asian agricultural universities and colleges.
TARGET PARTICIPANTS
The target participants of the program are undergraduate agricultural students from member universities/institutions of AAACU. A total of 25 students will be chosen to represent member countries, based on academic performance, especially in the field of agriculture.
PROGRAMME CONTENT AND VISITS
The program is conducted through lectures, student presentations and discussions, exchange of experiences, visits to research institutions, project sites, and agricultural industries.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Applicants must submit the fully accomplished form together with the following requirements:

- Letter of Recommendation from the President of the University or its equivalent (e.g. Dean of the College) wherein he/she is currently enrolled
- Transcript of records (or True Copy of Grades)
- Certification of enrollment from the University Registrar

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Faculty of Animal Science UGM
The OIA will evaluate your application and invite you to be selected by interview on 17 April 2019. Successful candidate from UGM will be recommended for selection to AAACU Secretariat.
COST
AAACU will shoulder food, accommodation, and local travel expenses of the participant at the host country in the duration of the study tour. Visa and airfare expenses will be borne by the participant.
