Opening Announcement
The Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is pleased to announce the reopening of the Student Exchange Program for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
This program offers international students an exceptional opportunity to participate in a non-degree exchange program, specifically designed for candidates from foreign countries.
Through this prestigious initiative, the Faculty aims to empower academically outstanding students in the field of animal science while fostering social and cultural exchange, personal growth, and global collaboration. Participants will gain valuable academic knowledge, practical experience, and international networking opportunities to contribute to the development of their home countries.
Program Overview

Undergraduate students will participate in classes, practicums, field visits, and enrichment activities designed to strengthen their foundational understanding of animal sciences and prepare them for future professional or academic pursuits.

Master’s and Doctoral students will collaborate on research projects under the supervision of Faculty of Animal Science lecturers, with the goal of publishing a research article in a conference proceeding or academic journal. Applicants must submit an activity plan detailing their proposed research topic and activities.
Number of Fellowships Available
10 fellowships are available for one-semester participation in the Student Exchange Program.
Program Coverage
The Faculty of Animal Science – Student Exchange Program provides the following benefits:

Waived tuition fees for one semester

Living allowance (based on Yogyakarta local rates)

Personal expenses during the stay in Indonesia
Eligibility Requirements

Currently enrolled in an Animal Science, Agriculture, or related program (undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral level), with at least two semesters completed
-
A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent academic achievement
-
English proficiency, demonstrated through an official TOEFL/IELTS certificate or a statement from the home university

Recommendation letter from the home university and a motivation letter

For master’s and doctoral applicants: a proposed research topic and plan
